King County Play Equity Coalition (KCPEC)
Membership Dues Structure
Our membership process includes a sliding scale model for ORGANIZATIONAL members, designed to remove financial barriers to participation while ensuring the sustainability of the Coalition’s work. Please choose a membership fee that fits your organization or individual situation based on your financial capacity, organizational resources, and position of privilege.
We understand that some members work for large organizations, government agencies, or institutions that do not cover membership fees. If this applies to you, we encourage you to select a level that works for your financial situation. It is always better to opt for a lower payment or free organizational membership rather than opting out entirely.
The sliding scale serves as a guide, and we encourage organizations to contribute at a level that reflects their financial position while ensuring that no one is excluded due to cost.
Free or Stipend Eligible: Please choose this tier if you meet the stipend OR if you are unable to contribute at any of our offered tier levels. You will still have the option to make a donation.
Scroll down to the bottom of this page to view stipend eligibility criteria.
Tier 1: $300
Tier 2: $500
Tier 3: $1500, If every Coalition member were able to pay tier 3, member dues would completely cover our stipending program and remove all financial barriers to participation
Tier 4: $3000
Tier 5: $6000, If you answered mostly no but are unable to contribute at this level- consider choosing another level and adding a donation that feels right to you!
Equity and Inclusion is a key value of our organization. For organizations that meet this criteria, they will be provided a $1500 stipend for becoming an active member.
